Presenter: Debra K. Weiner, MD, FACP, Professor of Medicine, Psychiatry, Anesthesiology and Clinical & Translational Science University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine

This presentation will discuss the evolution of Dr. Weiner’s research on chronic low back pain in older adults.  Her research developed organically in the context of her clinical care of these patients and has evolved into a multi-site clinical trial.  She hopes that this model can be applied to others who wish to develop a program of research.
